Remotion vs fframes: render speed is not the bottleneck when an AI agent writes the video
I benchmarked fframes (Rust + Skia) against Remotion (React + headless Chrome) on an M1, then gave two Claude agents the same 30-second brief, one per tool. fframes renders 4–5× faster. Remotion was built 2× faster and with 40% fewer tokens.
